Snap shot of artistic talent at the Victoria & Albert

Snap!, a collection of photographs and personal stories showcasing the artistic talent of people with a learning disability, their family, friends and carers is on display at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Mencap hopes that seeing the photographs and reading the personal stories will help increase understanding and empathy of people with such a condition.

The show is the idea of Mencap trustee Frances Sorrell, who is looking to develop ways to use the arts to give people a new perspective on learning disability. Snap! will be at the V&A until 8 August.
