The New Millennium Experience Company’s decision not to use a robot design from the University of Sussex’s Centre for Computational Neuroscience, in favour of US technology, has sparked concern from British scientists.
The exhibit for the Mind Zone of the Dome, designed by Zaha Hadid, functions on cutting-edge neural networks.
A spokesman for the NMEC says: ‘It [the Dome] will feature achievements from all over the world.’
