When Noah was planning the Ark, he probably got creative pitches from a dozen boat builders in Galilee. Pitching for design business is older than the business itself and casting the net as wide as possible is nothing new either. The alarming trend towards mega-pitches may be taking things to extremes. But the whole episode simply shows the inexperience and insecurity of those buying design, a situation that is endemic through every design sector, especially print graphics and product design.
