Gateshead has won its bid to host the 1999 World Veteran Track and Field Championships, billed as the world’s biggest athletics event. Yellow M designed the winning logo, brochure and interactive video for the bid.
The group will also design all new literature to seek sponsorship during the 1997 games being held in Durban, South Africa.
Further design work will include a welcome pack for the 8000 athletes, merchandising, signage, flags, tickets, programmes, TV commercials and billboard advertising, says the spokesman.
