JOA rebrands two arms of Invensys

West Midlands communications specialist JOA has won projects to create new corporate identities for two divisions of UK engineering group Invensys.

The consultancy will rebrand Hawker, the world’s largest battery manufacturer, and international electric motor company Brook Crompton.

The appointment of Hawker follows a credentials presentation. “They have a multiplicity of brands globally and we have been appointed to give the master brand and identity some cohesion. The identity review is due to be completed by early next year,” says JOA managing director John Oakley.

Meanwhile, the project for Brook Crompton is an on-going programme which includes the implementation of a new visual identity and the creation of both internal and external communications programmes.

“These business wins underline the success of our business to-business approach. Both of these companies are major global players in their sectors and our understanding of the industrial marketplace internationally was a key factor in their decisions to appoint us,” adds Oakley.
