Multi-disciplinary consultancy Mercier Gray has appointed a financial director, as it embarks on an aggressive growth strategy due to expanding client activities. Further senior appointments are expected, though none have yet been confirmed.
Peter Wade is due to take up the newly created directorship at the end of April. He was previously responsible for the finances at Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe, and has also worked at J Walter Thompson and M&C Saatchi in the past.
Mercier Gray managing director Rob Gray says: “Peter has an excellent track record, a valuable perspective and long standing agency experience which will be a real asset to our senior management team. This appointment is a manifestation of our plans to become the largest independent consultancy in out field.”
