Burberry redesigns flagship London store

Traditional UK fashion brand Burberry is to unveil new interior and exterior design formats at its London flagship store in September.

Located in the prime retail district of Bond Street, the store will provide nearly 1400m2 of retail space selling clothes for men and women. US designer Randall Ridless has worked with UK architect Mark Pinney on the development of the site.

Both consultants were appointed by Burberry’s US chief executive Rose Marie Bravo. ‘Though modern architecturally, the detailing has been inspired by traditional materials. Just as we returned to the archives to discover the DNA for the ready-to-wear collections,’ says Bravo.
