NY agency wins gold award

Interbrand Schechter in New York has won the Benjamin Franklin Gold Award for Excellence for its redesign of the Aramark identity.

Philadelphia-based Aramark, formerly named Ara Group, provides management services to business, education, healthcare, leisure and government. The addition of the “star person” to the logo is in recognition of the company’s employees, says a consultancy spokeswoman.

The honour was awarded by Neographics and was sponsored by the Graphic Arts Association of Philadelphia.
