PJMP style for Langs’ interiors

Glasgow-based interior design and architect group Percy Johnson-Marshall & Partners has created the interiors for Langs, a new £10m, contemporary “urban retreat” hotel in Glasgow’s city centre that opens this week.

The design group has designed the 100 bedrooms, which are split-level, loft-style spaces. Its brief was to use clean, contemporary lines without being minimalist, says PJMP interior designer Kaye Cullinan.

“The client has no existing brand image they had to work to, or any particular hotel user it was targeting, so we had a free rein,” adds Cullinan.

PJMP also designed the hotel’s B bar and Californian-style restaurant Las Brisas.
