Hanover Fair win for Firbank Kempster

Firbank Kempster has been appointed to manage the design, construction and marketing of the British Partnerland pavilion at the 50th Hanover Industry Fair in Germany next April.

The exhibition specialist, Fitch and HBM took part in a free creative pitch to the Department of Trade and Industry. Firbank Kempster’s design is based on a large cylinder, which will create a separate environment within the exhibition hall.

Firbank Kempster group marketing director Ian Denny says: “We want to ‘brand’ a memorable vision in the minds of all those who visit this presentation of British innovation, today and in the future.”

At the main entrance to the UK pavilion, the BBC World Service’s display will be the first exhibit the expected 100 000 visitors will see.

Firbank Kempster is also designing exhibition areas for other UK companies taking part in the Partnerland pavilion – one of the largest at the fair. These include British Aerospace, SmithKline Beecham and product group Hollington Associates.
