Fishhook attracts Pete Ramskill

Pete Ramskill Design, the graphic design consultancy set up by former Boots design head Peter Ramskill, has created its first piece of branding – for new training company Fishhook – and is developing its e-consultancy work in Europe.

Established by former Nottinghamshire and England cricketer Andy Afford, Fishhook is a business training and coaching company. Its name derives from the fact a fishhook is a Maori symbol for growth and development, and it was in New Zealand that Afford enjoyed his best cricketing days.

The marque is simple, suggesting growth with increasingly large letter sizes. Since leaving Boots in June, Ramskill has spoken at several new technology conferences in Europe, winning consultancy work as a result.
