Marketing communications group Outside the Box has created a direct mail campaign for software client Intentia, to promote its IT services to companies in the run-up to Economic and Monetary Union.
The campaign targets the financial directors in relevant companies and explains, through a series of fictional letters, how the introduction of EMU could make their life difficult.
The letters point out, in a humorous way, that Intentia can help them solve these problems according to Outside the Box managing director Mark Davies.
The letters are sent every four days, starting in September. “Senders” include the client’s child, golf club and a customer. Each say they have noticed the recipient is suffering from stress and worry which they suspect is caused by the forthcoming EMU.
