Window-gazing through a not-so-digital future

While most designers are bragging to clients about their high-tech communications systems in the shape of ISDN and other such modern phenomena, others take a more retro approach.

Tottenham Mews-based group Bosworth Field was recently asked to put together some exhibition boards by client advisory group EDR for this week’s Design Show.

When it came to giving the presentation, Alan Binding at BF flew in the face of cyber fashion, switched off his Mac and opened the office window.

For EDR is located in the same London mews, in the building across the way from BF. So the client did likewise and the presentation was conducted from one side of the lane to the other.

EDR’s Richard Watson liked what he saw and gave the boards the thumbs up – putting the digit into digital communication.
