Festival image makes Sense

The British Medical Association is to run The Millennium Festival of Medicine throughout the year 2000, with an identity by London design and marketing consultancy Sense.

The festival will look at the main issues facing the medical and healthcare professions in the next millennium.

The identity is based on the symbol of a pomegranate flower, a fruit which has been revered for its medicinal properties since the time of Hypocrites, according to a Sense spokesman. It will appear on stationery, promotional material and a website.
