Casting stones damages professional integrity

Having just read the Daily Telegraph’s article regarding Beresfords’ design for a new London logo, I was absolutely disgusted at the vitriolic quotes from Brian Boylan of Wolff Olins and Stephen Bayley, formerly at the Design Museum.

It’s easy to criticise, especially at a safe distance, but such petulant and arrogant assassination of another consultancy’s work in the public eye rebounds on the integrity of the design profession as a whole.

The two “gentlemen” should not need reminding that casting stones is a dangerous business, and I can only presume that they consider themselves without sin!
