Busaba Eathai, the Thai restaurant launched by Wagamama founder Alan Yau, is set to install a multimedia menu in the next few weeks.
The touchscreen system is the result of a collaboration between Tomato Interactive and Busaba lead consultancy North Design. Four speakers playing Asian music are rigged to a microphone which reacts to noise levels outside the restaurant. As cars drive by, or the crowds get lively, the menu animation and music react accordingly.
