The fourth London Photographic Awards has been won by Austrian photographer Eva-Maria Riegler for four images from her project on memories: Coming to my Senses.
The series depicts the eyes of four generations of women from her own family, from mother to greatgranddaughter, and under each image is a calendar of dates, one year for each subject’s life.
The awards are claimed to have a unique brief for photographers – a poem – and this year’s piece is entitled Whim by Imtiaz Dharker.
Judges include Saatchi & Saatchi Design creative director David Slater, and the winning entries will be on show at the Artomatic Gallery in London from 11 December to 9 February.
