Hill Rae Smith raises Evelina Appeal profile

As part of an on-going effort to raise money to fund a new hospital building, the Evelina Children’s Hospital Appeal, which specialises in the treatment of children with heart, kidney and neurological problems, has commissioned Sussex design consultancy Hill Rae Smith Graphics to design and produce fund-raising literature.

This follows similar work by the consultancy last year, which helped to raise £75 000.

The content features success stories about the specialist operations performed at the hospital, which is based at Guy’s Hospital in London, and uses photographic imagery of children taken by staff who work at the hospital.

According to Deborah Rae Smith, managing director at HRSG, the look and feel of the brochure “tries to keep a certain hospital feel, using green colourways, but without making it too cold.” She adds, “It is important to make it a good representation of how things happen there, so people want to become involved.”

HRSG has worked with Evelina for three years and was retained for this project.
