Whether it’s appearances at London Fashion Week in the form of artworks by Wayne Hemingway or working with directors Blue Source on a film for the marvelous Lego Click website, the team at Lego can spot a good collaboration when they see one.
The brands latest partnership, and a smart one at that, is with Japanese retailer Muji, a brand famous for its minimalist stationery and chic Japanese clothes.
The collaboration has yielded Lego Bricks and Paper, which allows creative types to create their own part Lego part paper models. The sets will be available in animals, circus or sea theme and included a special hole puncher so you can create the world of your choosing.
The range will launch at Muji’s Covent Garden store in London on 2 February. If you’re a fan of Lego and of drawing, which I’m guessing most of you are, don’t plan anything for the first half of February.
