Arjowiggins launches paper design contest

The brief is inspired by the Curious Story, a project by fashion photographer Grégoire Alexandre for last year’s rejuvenation of the Curious Collection of papers.

Designs can be in any discipline, from illustration to printed artworks, 2D graphics and 3D sculptures, but must be created using papers from the Curious Collection, or feature them at the centre of the story.

The contest is open to professional and students designers, and there are separate categories for each. The main prize in the contest is an Apple MacBook Pro.

All UK winners will be put forward into an international contest, the prize for which will be an Apple iPad. In addition, all winning entries will be showcased in a booklet to be produced by Arjowiggins Creative Papers.

The judges include Design Week editor Lynda Relph-Knight, and Arjowiggins key account manager Annette Clayton.

The deadline for submissions is 30 September. For more information visit www.yourcuriousstory.com.
